The Associate of Arts degree provides an educational pathway that emphasizes social sciences and humanities for students that intend to complete a bachelor's degree program at a four-year institution. To complete the Associate of Arts degree, students complete coursework in a variety of subject areas. Please refer to the Blackhawk Technical College online catalog for complete information. BTC Career Services helps students explore careers, prepare for the job application process and find current opportunities. BTC offers resume writing assistance, mock interviews, job search techniques, and internships when available.
Blackhawk Technical College provides free tutoring services to students enrolled in credit-bearing courses at the college. BTC offers online, open lab, and peer tutoring. Counseling services are also available.

There may be additional fees associated with courses taken at University of Wisconsin Whitewater - Rock County under the partnership agreement.
In order to receive refunds, you must formally request refunds from Registration and Records by notifying them of your intent to drop a class(es) or completely withdraw from all classes. Requests for refunds must be received during the same term of enrollment. In the event of extenuating circumstances, you should meet with the Registrar and be prepared to provide documentation / evidence supporting your request.
